Dorothy Manning, nee Berkowitz, beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Michele (Joel) Polakoff, Arnold (Judi), Barry (Melinda), Joel (Judy) and the late Curtis; cherished grandma of Lindsay (Paul), Jamie (Joe), Brian (Cionne), Mike (Sam), Adam (Morgan), Jason (Mallory), Brittany, Shana and Mathew; adored great-grandma of Alex, Ryder, Mia, Kensie, Avery, Nathan, David, Evan, Elizabeth, and Owen; caring sister of the late Esther (the late Ralph) Newberger. Chapel service Wednesday 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment following the service will be private.
